| Am intrat in cofetarie, uda toata. Am privit in jurul meu, observand ca nu erau multe persoane as aca m-am asezat la o masa, privind afara pe geamul mare. | |

| Intră destul de udă în cofetărie , plângându-se , ura apa , şi mai ales urechile ude. Tremura , şi era nervoasă până la măduva oaselor , se aşeză jos , cerând o cană cu lapte fierbinte în timp ce se ghemui , ridicându-şi picioarele la piept. | |
